Vulnerability in the SSL 3.0 protocol

A security flaw in the SSL v3.0 protocol, called POODLE, has been discovered by researchers at Google. This flaw could allow hackers to insert themselves between a server and a client in order to recover numerical data, thus making it possible to decrypt traffic protected by SSL v3. Currently, the most effective solution appears to be to deactivate the SSL v3.0 support on your web server. On the InternetVista level, you can choose the protocol to be used for monitoring your secured website (https). We recommend that you define the protocol TLS (v1, v1.1 or v1.2) instead of SSL V3.0 for your HTTPS applications.
